History

Selko^® Feed Additives was founded as Selko B.V. in 1983 and has become a leading manufacturer of preservatives for raw materials and finished feed. Its head office, research laboratory and production plant are in the Netherlands, a country famous for its livestock industry, and innovative technology in hygiene and environmental quality control.
In 2002 Selko became part of Trouw Nutrition International, the global leader in innovative feed specialities, premixes and nutritional services for the animal nutrition industry. Trouw Nutrition International has locations in 25 countries and around 1,400 employees. Since 1931, its feed to food solutions have met the needs of feed producers, integrators, distributors and home mixers, as well as the companion animal industry.
