TOXO^®-XXL uses an integrated approach to protect livestock against a broad spectrum of mycotoxins. Specially developed for moderate and cool climates where Fusarium toxins are of most concern. Providing protection against a broad spectrum of mycotoxins, TOXO-XXL enables the livestock industry to cope with low quality and moulded raw materials.

Binding mycotoxins
A blend of smectite clays bind the most dangerous mycotoxins. The selected smectites are purified and activated for optimal binding spectrum and efficiency.
Intestinal protection
Selected glucose biopolymers assure a healthy gut wall with closed tight junctions. This is important as toxins such as DON or OTA damage the gut wall, leading to rapid absorption of mycotoxins, increased translocation of bacteria and pathogens and other problems such as ‘ leaky gut syndrom’.
A healthy immune system
A powerful immunostimulant ensures a healthy immunesystem. This is especially important in case of low quality raw materials and stressful conditions, as almost all mycotoxins are immunosuppressive.

Enhanced detoxification
In addition to above working mechanisms, TOXO-XXL also contains a blend of vitamins and anti-oxidants that enhance the excretion of detoxified mycotoxins and reduce mycotoxin induced oxidative stress TOXO-XXL offers extra protection and is therefore especially suitable for breeding and young animals.
