Optimin SeY is a specific inactivated whole cell yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) product containing the essential trace element selenium in its natural bioavailable form; L(+) selenomethionine. Intestinal absorption of organic selenium is more efficient than inorganic selenium sources.
