Start of new factory

The reconstruction of the Selko Feed Additives factory, dedicated to the production of organic acid blends, has been succesfully completed. The factory resumed the production of its premium organic acid based products. There has been great attention in the project to achieve high HSEQ standards, allowing production according to world class safety and quality systems.

The new factory operates according to the newest production technology and with double the capacity compared to the old factory. Selko now uses completely new automation systems, including the new Siematic IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Wout Dekker and Frank Tielens visited the new factory, right before it was taken into the testing phase in December. With this update, we thank everyone who has made it possible to work through this project with us. We especially thank our clients and distributors for their help and patience throughout the project ensuring as good as possible deliveries during the stand-still period. Now together with our customers, we are looking forward to a successful 2011!
